Our federation

Building Bhutanese tennis, one court at a time.

Founded in 1983 and affiliated with the International Tennis Federation and the Asian Tennis Federation, the BTF is the recognised national governing body for tennis in the Kingdom of Bhutan. We organise national championships, run junior development programmes, certify coaches, and select the players who wear our national colours abroad.

From the outdoor courts at Changlimithang to community courts in Paro, Phuentsholing and Wangdue, our work is rooted in a simple belief: every child in Bhutan should have the chance to pick up a racquet.
